Dragonflies are finally out in Denver!!

And yucca moths are out in Albuquerque (so it should go without saying the our Yuccas are blooming)

Other phenological developments here include blooming kingcup and claret cactuses (Echinocereus) and presence of adult jumping spiders (after many rounds of molting).

and my rose bushes are approaching peak color

As far as I’m concerned, this marks the start of summer! Helianthus petiolaris in New Mexico
