Observation disconnected from the geography system

When I open “Details” on the map of https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/17389661 it has coordinates, but no places, either “Standard” or “Community Curated”, associated with it.

Edit: also https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/19939404 (I’m cleaning up atlases and finding this stuff)

https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/17389661 looks ok to me. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/19939404 is at the north pole ( Lat: 88.152954, Lon: 99.375), where we don’t seem to have any places, and Google seems to struggle to even show the location (I think it might have to do with drawing the accuracy circle around the pole).

So I’m not sure there’s a bug here, at least not on our end. For the second obs, I recommend voting that the coordinates are not accurate.

Something clearly changed, I can attest to the fact when it was posted that New Zealand pigeon had no curated or listed places in the details. Points to the need to add screen captures I guess.

Yeah, I’ll do that the next time I spot one of these. The NZ pigeon definitely didn’t have places in the details before. Sorry about that.
