See my comment below this is probably user error related to trying to batch change location accuracy. Apologies I will leave the post up if it may help someone in the future, or delete if it will cause confusion.

Description of problem:
I have created a place for my neighborhood to document species and make a case for funding/maintenance/grants for some wild/natural space that exists in the neighborhood. The problem I encounter is missing a number of observations located within the place. I believe the issue stemmed from when I was a new iNat user and had a very large accuracy circle on the majority of my observations which extended beyond the place boundary. After the accuracy was reduced/corrected the observations still do not appear unless you draw a new boundary box. I wonder if the place will ever “refresh” the location information so that these observations will appear correctly or if they are doomed to not appear there as I might imagine looking at this help post? New observations appear correctly within the boundary. It is not the end of the world if not but it would be nice to have those ~450 observations included without having to create a separate boundary each time. I changed the location accuracy on these observations several months ago.
In case it is helpful this is one of the observations that was corrected and does not appear within the place until a custom boundary is drawn.
Step 1: Go to https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=215006&subview=map
Step 2: Draw a boundary box within the place boundary
Step 3: You will see the number of observations increase
Thank you!
