Description of problem: trying to restrict this project to a specific location, which appears elsewhere in the app and in browser but does not come up in the dropdown menu when creating or editing the project. For now I was able to create the project using the surrounding county, but would like to limit it to Ike Kinswa State Park in Washington State, USA.

Could you add a link to the place? I don’t see it in a search.

Places that are searchable from the uploader or from the Location box on Explore aren’t necessarily stored in the iNat database, they’re pulled in real time from Google’s geolocating service. In this case, iNat doesn’t have a place for that park, so if you want one, you’ll have to import it.

One option is to take the outline from OSM (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/3740412) and pull it in with overpass turbo.
