Every identifier knows how widespread is the dubious agreeing of users to identifications of their own observations thus subverting the value of the two-ID Research Grade. Many users press the agree button just as a way to show their gratitude or as a way to say “ahh, indeed it looks similar”, not realizing that they are actually performing an identification.
Surely, a “Confirm” button will not stop such practices but it should at least reduce them by communicating more clearly the true meaning of the button. “Confirm” has a connotation of higher confidence.
