I was taking a browse through the badges today and I noticed that there was a badge for replying to a forum post via email. I didn’t even realize that was an option, how on earth would one go about doing that?
You can do this:
- Then click the “Emails” tab in your preferences
- Then scroll to the bottom, and turn on “Enable mailing list mode”
- This will make the iNat Forum (Discourse) start emailing you with every new post
- You will have the option to reply to each post by replying to the email
- This should give you the badge
