If I’m understanding correctly, this functionality works for some phones (software), but not others?
If it is a feature offered for Android but not iOS, no need to make a Feature Request as the iNat team is currently trying to update iOS to have all the features currently available for Android.
If this functionality is being inconsistent, or worked in a previous version of the app and no longer works, please post a bug report.
