Searching through my observations that I haven't added annotations to

Is there a way to search through observations that I have made that don’t have annotations yet? I want to add annotations to all my observations but it’s going to take a while to sort through all of them. Just want to make sure I get them all. I’ve been lazy about my annotations and let them pile up.

it depends on what you’re trying to do exactly.

see:

To find my unannotated observations, I use “Identify.” I search on on my observations “Without Annotation” Alive for animals and “Without Annotation” Flowers and Fruits" for plants. I’m careful to mark those two annotations for all my observations that I annotate, so I will be able to find the ones that lack annotations.

Remember to switch “Reviewed” to “All” – the default is “No” and that will cause you to miss a lot of the observations you want to annotate.

I use the " Identify" page and under “more filters” choose “Person” and “Without Annotations”. Don’t forget to choose “Research Grade”. ". Unfortunately you will have to do each type of annotation separately, unless someone knows how to combine them all into one url.
It would be nice if there was a choice for “All”.

flowers and fruits term_id=12
sex term_id=9
leaves term_id=36
evidence of presence term_id=22
life stage term_id=1
establised term_id=33
alive or dead term_id=17

There is a tool for that

Glad to see people promoting the tool and it would be very useful for this kind of situation, but be aware that the way the iNat URL system works, if you generate a combined search for observations missing annotations all at once, it will eliminate anything that has even one annotation value. It probably doesn’t make sense to do all these at the same time, for better or worse. You’ll want to switch queries for different contexts (eg plants without flowering, animals without alive/dead, etc).

ETA: Actually now that I check this specifically, I’m not sure the iNat URL system even supports searching by 2 excluded Annotation values at the same time at all?
