Hi @La_Science_Musicale. iNat gets a lot of spam, and one of the techniques is to create a new user profile containing one or more spam links. To combat that, iNat has some automated processes to automatically block users with very few observations who create profiles using certain types of links. It looks like this got triggered when you added a link to your personal page in your profile.

I resolved the spam flag on your profile page. However, your account is still suspended. Please contact help@inaturalist.org to ask for it to be reinstated.

Because I was aware of this algorithm that looks for zero observation accounts that are posting links I have my students make an observation of a wild plant as the first thing they do after signing up. I recommend that if they want to set up a full profile that they do so after having made an observation. Glad to know this situation was resolved!

Sorry for disturbing. I just met a similar problem, my account was suspended for no reason. I’m not sure if it’s because I used an unstable VPN or because I sent several friends emails seeking help. I am very certain that I have not violated any regulations. My account is 1445148819@qq.com What should I do to restore my account?
