I use a sweep net to identify insects But I’m having trouble photographing the insects out of the net . Does Somebody have Tipps? Sorry english isnt my Main Language.
You can try buy something like this https://www.nhbs.com/bug-pots-set-of-10 you can catch whatever specimen your looking for and photograph them in this, I would recommend a pot with a grid pattern below as this can allow you to measure certain species allowing you to correctly id them.
I was thinking of getting one of these for pond dipping. But, it could work for insects. I like them because they have flat sides. I didn’t want a round container. I thought the flat sides would be better for photography of what is inside.
