Yeah! They are very useful books and I love them so much! :D
does this book extend into Ohio and western PA? Was considering getting it but not sure what the book defines as the northeastern US.
Thanks - I am short on $ right now so I can only afford one book at a timeā¦..but I will keep this bookmarked for when I can stock up!
Glad you asked, as I havenāt yet sat with the book.
It does cover what I consider the north northeast, and may not be suitable for me, too. Hmmm.
Definitely still worth to have on the shelf - says its āusefulnessā is based on geologic range so a fair amount of overlap would be expected around eastern ohio up along the lower lake erie basin to southeast Michigan.
True⦠but Iām in west central, between Manistee and Muskegon. Thereās a change south of here, I came to think of as āthe Bracken Lineā. Ha! I guess I should think of it as āthe Eagle Fern Lineā!
Yep, thatās quite a good book
Apparently a second edition with a lot more species has been published like a week ago- Field Guide to Birds of the Indian Subcontinent: Second Edition: Helm Field Guides Tim Inskipp Helm - Bloomsbury
Also your field guide looks quite new, mine has much more wear and tear
I got what is basically the same book, but instead of āCOMPACTā edition i got āCONCISEā edition
That is so cool!
Ty; I meant to upload this on the drawings and art forum, not this one. Should i delete it?
you can delete the post, or edit it, if you wish. Iām on mobile atm or Iād directly move the post to the appropriate thread on your behalf
I deleted it, ty!
Thatās alright!
