Last night after I was outside relaxing in nature I found a Mud Dauber (likely Asian) struggling on my living room floor, it was completely disfigured, rear legs extended and paralyzed, abdomen above wings, wings apart, and it kept flipping onto its back, so I tried saving it, I made a mimic nest for it and gave it some sugar water and moved it to heat and some light, and it was a little more active, but I had to go sleep soon and it was too dark outside for me to let it out, and it could barely do anything without me, so I kept it in the container overnight thinking at least it’s going to die in peace, before I went to sleep I named it Lilac, because moments before I found it I observed a common lilac tree in my front yard, and I planned to throw the dead body in my front yard this morning, but when I went to check on it this morning it was alive and moving, rear legs bent and making surface contact, abdomen under wings, wings stabilized, and it stopped flipping onto its back, it even grabbed onto the underside of the mimic nest I made for it and it grabbed onto my finger (I had gloves on) before I gave it some more sugar water, I think I also saw or heard it start its wings, then before I went on my school bus I dropped it on some hydrangeas I have in my front yard and moments later it crawled on the stem upside down and flew away
