Because I rarely feel confident enough to judge that it will never be able to be improved. I basically do not use this function at all.

No, it already started some weeks earlier… maybe first time in July I think… and happened some more times since then.

Humans do all kinds of baffling things. In cases like this one, I think the relevant question is not “is this good behavior?” but “does it matter?”
This identifier might be a bit overly concerned with managing their public appearance, but so are most of us, at least some of the time. Does anyone benefit if we decide to be a bit overly concerned with the management of this person’s public appearance, as well?
