Trillium species in Quebec

Four trillium species are native to Quebec but only two show up on this page:

https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?nelat=46.9819379&nelng=-71.13394&place_id=any&subview=grid&swlat=46.7307989&swlng=-71.54944499999999&taxon_id=49465&view=species

I did not type the latitude-longitude coordinates, but rather I selected “Québec, QC, Canada” from the dropdown menu in the search box. I’m pretty sure the bounding box is incorrect.

Here are two observations in Quebec that do not appear on the above search output:

Thanks,

Tom

Your first search is Quebec city, not Quebec province. T. grandiflorum and T. cernuum haven’t been observed in Quebec city.

That’s Quebec City, not Quebec the province.

A hint, dont use the search function on the main page, rather select filters, and then more filters and use the geography search there, it will result in much better results from more accurate location definitions.

Thanks for the tip. I did that, with much better results:
