I just watched a neat video about scorpions in the UK , and I had to share it!

The YouTube comments are full of people who have spotted scorpions in the UK for decades — it’s amazing!
As a Canadian living at a similar latitude to London and the Isle of Sheppey (about 50º North), I found it very interesting!

Ongar underground station used to be famous for its scorpions. I don’t know whether they are still there.

I recently bought myself a UV torch (flashlight) so if there are any around me I hope to find them.

I was showing a scorpion at work today and thought I need to get a UV light for my kit. I don’t have native scorpions anywhere near me but I do research in an area that gets them
