Step 2: Admire the whale shark.
Note that this place is also missing the place creator. This is a different issue from this one , where the edit button is not available.

Weird, I can open that page with my staff account, but not with a curator account. We can take a look this week.

how do you create a place with no boundaries?
Not sure, but there are a lot of places that are just points. Maybe these ones are a separate issue, but I’ve been able to edit other point places before.
Yeah that’s actually what I linked to in the above flags. Sorry that might’ve been a little confusing…

I asked the place creator to send KMLs because I don’t think they should be able to make places like this, but haven’t heard back yet. It would be good to see if that’s part of the issue. I dowloaded the place’s KML from iNat, but I don’t think that’s the exact same file that was uploaded.
