I’ll also change the current ios-app tag to ios-classic-app and make a new mobile-app tag to use for the new app. I’ll also make an ios tag to be used in conjunction with the new tag. Eventually, when the Android version is totally released I’ll add an android tag.
After that, please treat the new app just like any other part of iNaturalist and start discussions in General, Bug Reports, and Feature Requests. Please tag them properly if you can remember to do so.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
I’m not sure which procedure you’re referring to, but the next steps are to bring in some more basic functionality to the new app for iOS (namely adding to traditional projects, and other smaller things) and then beta testing the app for Android.
Thanks. I think we’ll have to see, for Android. I imagine most of the major functionality/design stuff will be pretty ironed out by the time Android is in public beta and we’ll really be looking for bugs and how the app works or doesn’t work with the myriad of Android devices and operating systems.
OK, I’ve closed those categories to new content (they should still be readable, let me know if they’re not) and will begin moving active topics out of them to the appropriate categories. If I miss something, please let me know.
