What are some unexpected finds that you found?

I was going on a trail to this place called hanging lake near Glenwood Springs, Colorado when I stumbled upon a mustelid: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/128244524. Also, right at that spot, There was a smooth green snake. That day, I missed it but the next day I went to Black Canyon of Gunnison National Park. There, I was at the visitor center which had a few trails. Then, I saw this guy moving through the grass:https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/128248377. So far, those are my main ones
