This is a question from another topic: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/are-there-any-way-to-show-insect-life-circle
Some of butterfly instar larva, during pupate, they are expose, we are easily to observe how a larva grows into pupa. For example, we can watch pupate of Papilio butterfly species.
This is an example of Common Mormon Swallowtail: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1fg4y1P7sF/?spm_id_from=333.1391.0.0

While another type of butterfly, during pupate, they wrap theirself with silk thread, we are very hard to observe, like most of silkworm species. If we observe this, it may disturb silkworm when they grows into pupa.
This is an example of Actias ningpoana:https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1QP411S7RP/?spm_id_from=333.1391.0.0

How to divide these two types? Are all the butterfly should be expose, while moth and silkworm take cover?
