The attached pic is Grey Wolf distribution in Western Canada. I’m wondering what the colour shades are. The opened iNat Legend only addresses symbols, not foundational map colourations. [Screen Shot 2022-03-14 at 15.25.14]

Why does the map legend not explain shades, only symbols?
