My last comment here. See the comment above about needing to see details to ID the pine. Even if we zoom in on your photos … we canNOT see the leaf and cone detail.
Composition and exposure may be correct – but iNat is not a photography site. We need your photo to be in focus, and to show the details which are field marks.
Many on iNat are neurodivergent in many different ways. We have to be, to care about which sp is that pine, is it even a conifer, why would anyone care, it’s A Tree! To most people who are not interested in nature – the whole which taxon issue is a huge joke. We can work together to be strong in achieving more and finer IDs. Or not.
Found feathers is a project which does look at particular fine details for birds.
Nature is messy. Our named and described sp are artificial boxes which suit us. Nature don’t care. That bird or tree is what it is – whatever we name or rename it.
