Step 1: Go to the observation page (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/225162832)
Step 2: On the observations map, click on “layers” and enable the “GBIF presence data” layer
Step 3: The dataset considered from GBIF is the one related to the Limax genus instead of the one for Limax dacampi

Hi @andreagobetti. I fixed that GBIF taxon id now. It should update within about a minute. Let me find the info on fixing it so you can make updates yourself if you find similar issues in future…

The correct GBIF data should be showing now.
It looks like users need Curator rights to create or update a Taxon Scheme link like this one. If you come across a similar issue in future, it’s best to add a flag to the taxon in question.
- Go to the taxon page (e.g. Limax dacampi)
- Scroll down to the “Curation” button (to the right of the tabs for “Map”, “About”, etc.
- Click “Curation” > “Flag for Curation”
- Add some basic details such as “I’m flagging this taxon because” The wrong GBIF data is showing. “Comment” Here’s the correct GBIF taxon: https://www.gbif.org/species/8871389
