Your best photos of the week!

Your photos are really great quality! What kind of camera do you have?

I have an OM System TG-7 camera I got as a gift last fall  and I’m so happy someone thinks these photos are good!

They’re amazing! My camera is a Panasonic Lumix, and while I can zoom in quite a bit, it’s an old camera, and the quality, especially for macrophotography, which is not what it is for, is not so good. Also, I’m amazed the frog was willing enough to pose for you; I have trouble even getting a picture of them not hopping, unless I have it in my favorite place to take pictures, a relatively large space between two oak tree roots, which makes it feel cornered, and I might get a few okay pics.

I was lucky enough that the frog was quite tamed, rather hiding a bit in the dead leaves than running away.

My camera has only a 4X zooming, so you have to be careful and quiet untill you get close enough

Thanks! Funny, I only observed 4 species of frogs in my life, and like 70% of my photos are green toads!

My latest shot! (Baby green toad) doesn’t count as best photo so It’s kinda for the vibe :)

I’ll stick to the latest Agile Frog in the grass!

Hey guys, sorry for the wait. I was in Algonquin with no service for about a week, and I am a little scared now that I’ve seen the build up of entries. I’m going to think about how to tackle this a little bit more…

Don’t count my Chunam Tree Frog, please. Just the Oakleaf and the Mantis.

Trying @ra_teo’s frog thing:

Of course I had a shutterspeed of 1/13, so not as good, but still not too bad.

Wow! Even better than my first attempt!

I tried on, like, 5 frogs to get the perfect settings

So did I yesterday with a (baby?) Chunam Tree Frog!

I didn’t get enough clarity though because I guess my camera is not meant for macrophotography.
