Nice photos! I don’t go out for photography purposes too much anymore but when I do I enjoy playing with light as well as finding situations where the colors of the subject and background are complimentary. As a fun little challenge I picked one plant, one animal, and one insect photo.

Sacred Kingfisher at Birdsland Reserve, Victoria. Was thrilled to get several shots of this gorgeous little bird.
A juvenile Dusky Moorhen (I think) trying to see what’s under the shell of the Eastern long-necked Turtle at Birdsland Reserve, Vic, Australia.
