430K or 454K species?

Hi all,

Yesterday (16 Dec) the number of species with verifiable observations available on iNaturalist changed from 430K to 454K. The former figure was quite stable for some months and new additions (ca. 1.5K per month) were balanced by nomenclature cleaning.

That’s cool to have more species, but I wonder what change in algorithm caused this sudden rise?
