A fun milestone was passed recently: the most observed species, Mallard, passed 100 000 verifiable observations! Another common, widely distributed, easily recognised species isn’t too far behind: Western Honeybee.

How does one find out the most common species within a family / order, etc ?
in the observations function, just search whatever family/order you want. Click the “species” tab and it should show all of the species observed in that group in descending order of how many have been observed

Seeing as how the apps use these pictures for ID search, this is one species it should NEVER misidentify.
