Accessing Digital Archives of Scientific Literature

I just posted a journal entry on iNat about this topic,
https://www.inaturalist.org/journal/gcwarbler/63998-digital-archives-of-scientific-literature
but I’m wondering if there is any equivalent discussion/compilation that has been posted on the iNatForum. I can’t seem to find anything.

There’s this thread on how to access publications without institutional access: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/access-to-research-publications-without-institutional-credentials/4877/2

A couple other sources off the top of my head are:
ResearchGate
Sci-hub (not posting link, since it’s not technically legal, but just Google it)
or checking author’s personal websites or even contacting them on social media or via work emails.

Brilliant. I’ve been trying to get a water mite paper for 18 months. I couldn’t find it on line. The author didn’t reply. It took me 30 secs to get it from Sci Hub. Thanks very much.
