Adding an exact taxon to a list

Hello!

When looking for/organizing things to identify, I like to build a list of all of the taxon I feel confident identifying. I can use a custom search URL to identify species on that list quickly. I would like to add the genus Oenothera to that list, but without calling up observations in a certain section of the genus. Is there a way to add a genus, but exclude a specific daughter taxon from a list? I was thinking of adding all of the daughter taxa within Genus Oenothera to the list that I would like to identify, and then adding the exact taxon Genus Oenothera to the list, to catch the more general ids, while still excluding some of the daughter taxa. I’m not sure there’s a way to add an exact taxon though.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated! :)

Yes: add &without_taxon_id=XXXXX to the URL

What Thomas said. It would look something like this:
https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/identify?taxon_id=48626&without_taxon_id=914082
which would exclude the section of Gauropsis
you might want to use reviewed=any, too

Thank you! That is exactly what I was looking for.
