Adding new species of Syrphidae

I have noticed that a lot of Syrphids from NE North America are missing in the database (found in Skevington, Jeff; et al. Field Guide to Flower Flies on Northeastern North America. Princeton, NJ: Princeton University Press, 2019. Print.).
I was thinking of going through and adding them but there are a lot of species that need to be added, so what would be the best way to do this? Just flag everything that needs curation or would it just be easier to send a list of all the species that need to be added to a curator?

TIA

In many cases, you can do it yourself. Go to the Taxa Info page, and enter the name into the search box. When it fails to find what you’re looking for, it’ll show a couple of boxes below where you can search for the name – if it finds it, the taxon should be added automatically. If not, or if the species you’re looking for is currently treated as part of another species (the Volucella bombylia complex comes to mind), then you’ll need to flag the larger taxon with a request for the curator.
