How to request adding a species?

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but how can I find out how to request to have a species added. I’m not a curator, and I don’t know how to find out who the curator is for the taxon I am interested in.

I tried searching Holopothrips tabebuia, but it’s not in the database. I tried adding it by searching external name providers, and it wasn’t found. I see it listed on:

http://www.catalogueoflife.org/annual-checklist/2019/search/all/key/holopothrips/fossil/1/match/1/page/3/sort//direction/asc

as well as on other sites. So what should I do? Is there a way to find out who the curator for this taxon is? Or a way to request someone somewhere to add the species?

(changed this to General as only curators should start posts in Curators)

You can see instructions here: https://www.inaturalist.org/pages/help#names But basically, go tot he taxon’s parent’s page (eg https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/252611-Holopothrips), click in Curation (under the graph) and select Flag for curation. Please provide a source.

There aren’t any specific curatrors for taxa. Some curators do specialize in certain taxa and/or regions, but any curator can make a change and no one is assigned a taxon.
