Adding Observation Photos to my Lists

I have uploaded photos and I have created Lists. How do I add the Observation Photo to my particular Lists? Or is a ‘List’ generic and each photo from a particular location that I created as a List is really supposed to be a Project?

I want my ‘List’ to reflect what I have observed, either by visual observation, photograph of specimen on location, photograph of collected specimen
