I came across this observation while looking at photos of T. alpinum and noticed the endemic symbol. Upon further investigation this species is apparently ‘Endemic in Asia’, although the map to the left of the image below shows otherwise. Other surrounding observations also have the same marking.
I have a few observations of my own of this species which do not show this feature, which can be viewed here, and are not in Asia. From what I can see in the curation history of this species there has been no recent changes to view regarding this status.
So, am I missing something? Quite confused at this one. Is it an error?
