Android App crashes on launch

Step 1: Launch the app (after forced stop).
It manages to load my observations (6545) but then crashes whilst loading the species count.
I’ve tried moving the data to my external SD card but Settings doesn’t reflect the change. App still crashes.

Which device are you using? We record crashes by device type.

For what it’s worth, Android OS 8 is about 7 years old and hasn’t been supported by Google since 2021. It may just be that the operating system or the device is getting too old to work with the iNat app.

Auto update active but never happens.
iNat app was working fine until about 10 days ago. Could this be a disk space issue?

Problem appears to be solved after uninstalling followed by new install of version 1.35.5(619)
