Android app randomly duplicating photos (in the post)

Description of problem: This seems to be just a visual error, but it is a little annoying and I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. Basically, the app will sometimes show an observation as having two identical photos, even if I’ve only uploaded it once. When I then edit the post to remove one of the photos, both photos get deleted and the observation shows as having no media at all. I don’t think the photo is actually getting uploaded twice, because when I look at the same observation on the website, it only shows one photo.

Step 1: Create an observation with a photo from your camera roll.

Step 2: Once the observation has finished uploading, you see that it apparently has two photos now. You swish through to see that it’s the same photo, twice.

Step 3: Go back and edit the observation, delete one of the photos, it now shows as having only one photo left. Save it. Look at the saved observation to discover that now there are no images at all in it.

I couldn’t find another thread about this bug, but if there is one, I apologise!

Yes, I experienced this once just recently, about a week ago, shortly after having uninstalled and re-downloaded the app. I’ve experienced many bugs on the android app but this particular one was a first!

Yes, this happens to me quite often especially when I upload the photo, then add an ID, then I re uploads another photo.

I never delete photo’s without checking if they do not have the same id…
