Reinstall of iNat app three times (leaving beta mode takes some time). Rollback to 1.30.15 (608) solves the issue.

Same error occurs when I want to share a sound ( I think ) from Merlin 3.3-rc (889) into iNatnuralist Android app 1.30.15 (608). This is not allowed anyway so… just for the record.

v1.35.0+614 solves the issue. Beta still installs 1.31.3 (612),

“Photo format not supported” is the message in English

I am getting the same problem right now, I don’t think I updated my app or anything, suddenly it just happens when I upload a normal picture, JPG file, earlier I was able too.

Same issue for me. Since few days, I can no longer upload pictures with the android app…
