The annotations are displayed in English even though the website is in Japanese version.
Until yesterday, all annotations were displayed in Japanese. In Japanese, the order is LIfe Stage, Evidence of Presence, Sex, Alive or Dead, but the order is different now.

本当ですね。iNatの日本語への翻訳は私を含む有志数人がCrowdinというサイトで行っているのですが、もしかするとその関係で問題があるのかもしれません。少し確認してみます。

@kueda Do you know anything about this? I am suspecting that the translations were deleted on Crowdin.

It may be some global problem, here taxa levels lost their translations too, is it so for Japanese version?

I’m surprised other language versions have similar problems!

Similar issues have arisen on the website with regards to the way taxons are displayed. In this example, it should have been displayed as " モンキマメゲンゴロウ属 (属 Platambus)", but now the taxon is in English and displayed as “モンキマメゲンゴロウ属 (genus Platambus)”.

Same problem with French language since, I think, yesterday or the day before: everything looks OK but annotations, and only annotations as far as I know, are in English.

Now we have lost toxonomic rank translations on observations pages (in title, on identifications) and listings (Explore, Your Observations) too but it’s ok on the “Edit Observations” listing where it looks like the only loss is one value in the two Geoprivacy dropdowns :

Should be fixed now. Here’s what I see in Japanese:

Tested Russian and French and those annotations look good as well.

Still seeing that, but maybe it’s a separate issue? Was it previously all translated?

I don’t remember if it was translated before but since the “obscured” string doesn’t seem to exist on Crowdin (“Obscured” does) I guess you are right.
