I found inaturalist through the app seek and id love to see the main app carry over a few features like the achievements/badges for identifying various species or numbers of species and the challenges feature were every month there’s a new set of observations to collect to earn a badge! What would you think about features like those being added?

There are many discussions about this on the forum, I suggest searching for them. tl;dr: iNaturalist doesn’t plan on adding stuff like badges, it incentivizes poor data quality and potentially other detrimental behavior.

It’s one reason we made Seek, to provide those kinds of badges but in an app that isn’t primarily about posting data.

The achievements on iNat are more subtle but we do have the Milestones thread on the Forum.
And Leaderboards which reward quantity, but again you can evaluate for quality yourself.
