Sorry if this has been asked–I tried to search as many variations of the idea as I could and didn’t see it.
Has it been suggested as a feature for Seek to allow it to run its achievements criteria against existing iNaturalist observations? Basically, if iNat proper won’t support badges, can Seek act as the badge app for iNat?

Seek is really meant to be an alternative to iNat so it’s links to iNat are pretty tenuous (basically just allowing you to post an observation to iNat when you make it) so I don’t think we’d want to work on creating more links to iNat, especially for something like earning badges. You can always just import photos or take photos of your iNat observations with Seek if your goal is to earn badges.
