Best practice for ordering photos?

Two batches?
One for multiple pictures of multiple sp.
One for picture of subject, followed by a wide habitat view.

If I have an artsy-fartsy photo, like one with a shallow depth of field that maybe obscures diagnostic features I usually make it the default one because it’s the photo I want to show off. Then I’ll put the more diagnostic ones after it. I remember Greg Lasley saying that to me about odonata photos, it was something like “Go ahead and take your cool shot, but please take some more plain shots for us identifiers.”
