Bilateral Gynandromorph Northern Cardinal spotted in PA! Any cool gynandromorph sitings/stories from y'all?

Seems pretty cool, I hadn’t heard of bilateral gynandromorphism, had to check if it wasn’t some jackelope-type story, buts its really quite neat. Any cool stories or sitings of bilateral gynandromorphs?

Haven’t seen any by myself, but in Internet there’re so many of them. I like this one in particular:https://www.facebook.com/PowdermillNatureReserve/posts/3156596877772436

Welcome to the Forum! I’ve seen photos of them, but have never seen one in real life.

In my neighborhood there’s a Chestnut-Sided Warbler (very rare bird for here), which has chestnut feathers on only one side:

The asymmetry is a bit clearer in these pics: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/70107847
Could it be a gynandromorph? I don’t know enough about warbler plumage to be sure, but I thought this would be a good place to ask.

Still waiting to meet a gynandromorph human.

I’ve never seen it in birds, but have seen it in butterflies… The Shannon Collection at Auckland Museum had some, and many other oddities besides… unfortunately the video at the facebook site doesn’t show the gynandromorphs…

but apparently Otago Museum recently had a live one!

and there is a mention in a volume of NZ Entomologist from 1967 of a gynandromorph cicada…

I shared this on another thread before. This was the first I’d read anything about the phenomenon: two-toned lobsters
