Interesting. Backyard chickens are actually completely illegal in my city, unless you live outside the city limits.

Yeah, before I moved to a rural house here. I lived in the Floridian suburbs and the outlawed chicken husbandry too.

Lol, chickens are good to have. Very satisfying to get eggs for much cheaper. While they [obviously] are not free eggs, they certainly are much cheaper. The food is getting more expensive though. Well worth it despite it. They’re pretty easy going. Definitely a good beginner pet in my opinion. Mine never got any disease.

Holy crap. I had 21. I have none now. 21 chickens was insane. They literally turned psychopathic.

Yeah, I haven’t heard of that issue before. I’m glad your ones are sane, lol. My hens killed my rooster whom I loved. They broke his neck. Completely insane.
