Bug when searching by Observation Fields

Platform: Website

Browser, if a website issue: Suspect all Browsers

URLs (aka web addresses) of any relevant observations or pages: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/363479723

Screenshots of what you are seeing: Note the URL when hovering over “Observations with this field”

Description of problem:

On the website, when I click on an observation field with a # sign and try to search for observations with that field, it doesn’t show any observations. The # has to URL-encoded (i.e. %23) to do the search.

In the screenshot, you can see how the field is passed to the search page.

Here is an example observation: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/363479723
If you click on “Nestbox #” and view Observations with this field, nothing shows up. If you replace the # in the URL with %23, you should see observations.

Thank you for the help!

Oops! I had done a quick search but I guess it was too fast! Thank you for pointing that out @pisum!
