Calendar/Meetup for NY/CT gatherings and blitzes?

Hi, there,

I would like to meet other people in my area who are working with iNaturalist. I found the calendar on the iNat forum but am wondering how to find public MeetUps or the like. Any ideas? I’m in the mid-Hudson Valley.

There’s a meetup channel on the unofficial Discord that often has Tri-State folks planning meetups. The link expires in a day, by the way.
