The camera here in the scan feature is sideways making it really hard to use it to upload observations. It’s fine when you take the photo, like shown, but nothing fixes the camera itself.

Can you share the iNat app version number and iOS version?
iPadOS version 26.6, and I don’t know how to get to the app version number.
Version number can be found in the side menu, under About.
1.0.27 (225) is the version number for my iNaturalist app
I do think this is an iPad only bug. Happens in Seek too. I’ve made an issue.
