Cannot export observations when searching for multiple user_ids

Any idea why when I create a download from a URL like this (with multiple user_id) it just has the header row but no data? A URL with multiple taxon_id creates a download without problems. Is this a bug? (I’m creating a download by clicking Filters>Download>Create export.)

I recently also was unable to generate an export based on multiple user_ids. You can use a Collection project as one way to get around it: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/new

Note: I just moved this to its own topic. And, welcome to the iNat Forum!

Any idea if this bug was resolved? I have tried to add multiple users on both the export page and the project page (figuring I would just put my observations in a project and export it that way) with no luck. The correct data displays in the search/map field but then exports a blank sheet…

Hi @eelikesbees, welcome to the iNat forum! It looks like this issue should be resolved. I just tested it out and was able to successfully export observations with three user IDs - the observations appeared in the CSV as expected.

Can you share screenshots and/or URLs like the below to help troubleshoot the issue? If so, please open up a new bug report with specific examples. Thanks!

(all 123 observations appeared in export)
