Casebearers found in Pukekohe on wooden fences. Has anyone else seen these? They look like a small piece of bark with a worm inside

I have see. A couple of casebearers on my wooden fences. They look like small pieces of bark and there is a worm inside. I live in Pukekohe New Zealand. Has anyone else seen them in New Zealand. They are not a good thing to have around as they harbour clothes moths.

I’m not sure what you mean they harbour moths, you’re more likely to see cases of Psychidae than Tineidae, and the latter don’t look like bark.
But this topic shouldn’t be in Spanish part of the forum.
