Are you using an Android or iOS device ? If iOS read this thread https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/multiple-images-selection-in-gallery-disabled-in-latest-update-and-photo-metadata-not-being-read/7519 If you uninstall you will lose any unsynched records, and I dont believe it will resolve.
