Changing and deleting a project admin

Hello All. First post, so please excuse if my topic is in the incorrect topic category. Without going into too much detail, my predecessor left the organization and I am trying to figure out how to delete their account, but add my newly created account as the admin so I can manage the projects that have been created by the previous person. TIA

Is it necessary to delete their account? Would it not be possible to ask the predecessor to either give you the login of the organizations account or to at least promote you to admin for the projects?

In the project settings, at the bottom there is a text box to add another account as an admin:

You’ll need to either ask them to add you, or get login information for their account in order to add yourself.

Yes, because its an archaic account and there are two accounts associated with this organization. Their account only has 7 observations so it makes sense to transfer everything over to my account. While I do have access to their login info, and I’ve added myself as an Admin, I hop to eventually delete their profile and I will have full access to the Projects.

Thanks. Yes, I’ve already done this but would like to remove them completely because there are 2 accounts now associated with this organization. I would like to eventually delete the profile without losing the Project information.

When I tested this myself I couldn’t figure out how to transfer ownership. Maybe ownership will transfer if you delete the other account but I’m not sure.

Is it a collection or traditional project?
