I have several Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Spring/Easter Cacti and all of a sudden they started dropping all their leaves. I changed absolutely nothing. Watering routine is the same, I did not move them, I do not have fungus gnats or root rot. Every time that I do a search it tells me it is either under or over watering but does not get specific on what is could be., Has anyone else had this happen?
Light? Curtains left closed?
Temperature or drafts?
We’re not really a houseplant help place…
I don’t have curtains on my windows. I didn’t move them. They aren’t near a door or open window. It is just the weirdest thing. It remains a mystery. lol
I don’t know where you are or how long you’ve been growing the cacti.
Have they done well and flowered before?
In Michigan we recently had a few cold mornings and that would change the temperature at the window sills.
Root rot is most common, but you’ve unpotted to check.
Is it time for darkness and rest? They may be off season from their name?
Other than that you’ll need a plant growers site for help.
Good luck.
