Create a distribution map which includes all subspecies ranges of a species

Hi, all.

Is there a way to create a map showing the distribution range of all subspecies of a species?

I found this topic: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/color-code-the-pins-for-subspecies-when-looking-at-maps-of-species/6580/6 But it doesn’t solve my question.

I missed that yesterday for example for Orchis morio. Wikipedia told me, that we have subsp. morio in Europe, the other subspecies can be found more in the south or the east of Europe. But it would be nice to have this displayed in a map.

During night, I got a reminder to check my IDs because of a taxon split, that was made. There exactly that type of map, I am looking for, is included:

So iNaturalist can create them, but I don’t know how.

Can you please give any advice, how I can create such a map?

Thanks in advance!

Is this the kind of thing you’re looking for?

Yes, exactly! How did you do it?

From the taxon page URL for each subspecies, e.g. https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/515168-Anacamptis-morio-syriaca, you can take that number and plug it into https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/map?taxa=

Great! many thanks!

You can also do it with the compare tool like this, which gives you a little more control.
